I also had my paternal line y-dna tested a couple of years ago using family tree dna. My Andrews/Anders line comes from the Sampson/Duplin County area of NC. From the test results, my line seems to trace back to a Thomas Andrews who settled in Surry Co. VA in the 1630's, based on matches from 2 other men's y-dna. I found this very useful in breaking this dead end in my tree.
