Martie, Furman Lindsey Anders was born April 1, 1884 in Henderson Co. NC. He died June 29 1966 in Henderson Co. NC. You can order a copy of his death certificate from The Register of Deeds in Hendersonville, county seat of Henderson Co. NC.
He is buried in the Oakdale Cemetery. He married August 29, 1915 to Sarah Adaline "Addie" Norman also in Henderson Co. NC. She was born 21 May 1884 and died Mar 5 1967 and buried in the Oakdale Cemetery. A copy of their marriage license is also available.
Furman is the son of Marcus "Mark" Lafayette Anders (1856-1939) and Hannah Paralee Henry (1858-1923) They were married July 25, 1877 in Henderson Co. NC Copies available.
Marcus is te son of Lindsey Baker Anders, Sr. (1822-1894) and his second wife, Nancy Cooksey Capps (1823-1900)
They are both buried in the Mud Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Flat Rock, Henderson Co.NC.
I would only be making a guess at Lindsey's parents, so I will not stick my neck out on that one, <smile>
I hope you will be able to receive the copies of the death certificates from Hendersonville okay.
