Hi Erin, Yes, I would be very interested in getting in touch with your grandfather. I have emailed you also. By the way, the paternal dna test has found a match with my Andrews paternal dna. His last name in Andrus, and his lineage goes back to a man named Benjamin Andrus, who was a very early settler in Louisiana in 1780. He was born in Virginia. So our Andrews/Anders in Sampson/Duplin Co., must share a common ancestor with this Benjamin Andrus, probably in Virginia in the 1600's to 1700's. As more people submit their paternal dna, we might be able to fill in more of the puzzle, and fill the gap between our Andrews/Anders in Sampson/Duplin Co., and their roots in Virginia. Thanks, -Phil Andrews Notify Administrator about this message?
