Hello, Today, I was at Heritage Quest and located a 10 page document of a Sarah (Anders) Jackson, who was petitioning to receive her widows pension for her late husband William Jackson. I do not yet know who this William Jackson is, but am trying to find out. My gr gr gr grandfather was William Jackson, b. abt 1798, in NC. I am exploring every avenue in hopes of locating his parentage and background. From the data in the documents, I was able to piece together a small file, which is: Descendants of ? Anders Generation No. 1 1. ?1 ANDERS Children of ? ANDERS are: 2. i. SARAH2 ANDERS. ii. REBECCA ANDERS, m. MR. ELLIS. Generation No. 2 2. SARAH2 ANDERS (?1) She married WILLIAM JACKSON 1779 in Home of Baker Wiggins. He was born Abt. 1748, and died 11 Jun 1840 in at the home of Thomas Holland. More About SARAH ANDERS: Widow's Pension: 08 Jan 1842, Wayne County, North Carolina Marriage Notes for SARAH ANDERS and WILLIAM JACKSON: Baker Wiggins was a Magistrate. Child of SARAH ANDERS and WILLIAM JACKSON is: i. LOW3 LEW, OR SEV JACKSON. Does anyone know of this family?? If so, I would like to know their descendants. I believe the document suggested they ahd a son William, or that Sarah's husband, William had a son William from a previous marriage. HELP! Sincerely, Linda Notify Administrator about this message?
