For what its worth: Quoting from "Abstract Henderson County, NC Estate Records 1838-1900" by Kathleen A. Summers,published 2002, page 5:
Anders, Peter 1860 Died about 1857. Lindsey Anders Administrator. Children: Lindsey Anders, John Anders, Jesse Anders, William Anders, David Anders, Daniel Anders, Hinson Anders, George Anders, Lindsey Anders, Polly Anders.
She writes that "the name is spelled Andrews on one document.
These records are on file in the North Carolina Archives in Raleigh, NC and a copy can be ordered from there. I do not know why Lindsey Anders was named twice in Peters estate.

According to the 1850 Henderson Co. NC census, Peter Andrews (Anders) was age 55, born ca 1795 in NC. His wife's name is not known by me. Living with him is Polly
Andrews age 25 and Catherine Andrews age 6. Polly is named as an heir but I do not know if she is a daughter, wife or daughter-in-law.
If there is an individual named in his will for whom you would want more information, please advise.
