i am trying to find out about the amors of wiltshire.i'm afraid i dont have much information to go on at the moment. my grand fathers name was henry edward amor, his brother was called george and his sister was known as sis(not sure of real name). it was either henrys father or his grandfather i was told married a gypsy and round about that time there was a name change, amer to amor i think. although he was born in wiltshire my grandfather told me they travelled about abit as his father was a farm labourer(i think). my grandfather around about 30 years of age married rosalind bowring and settled in midsomer norton, his brother george lived in frome somerset. i do have some photos of my grandfathers family if anyone is interested.
