Dear Susan, this could be the John you are looking for,but it's hard to say. I had hoped someone would claim him for their own. My interest is in a James Amor baptised London 1838 son of George and Matilda (baptised Mary Matilda). A family letter says he was in AUS as an adult but no trace of him has been found so far. I thought, perhaps his death was registered under the name of John in error.
