I have a puzzle. According to my family there was a Lady Amonette in France. She was a lady in waiting to Marie Antoinette of France and came to this country and settled in, I understand, Petersburg,VA.. This is no joke we have shoes that had jewels that were sold to buy property. Now, can any of you people enlighten me on this one? The family names of Ellis, Tuly and Floyd are mentioned and assumed to be connected with this lady. Anybody ever heard this story?
