Christopher Amon, Brit. soldier from Germany

I am looking for information on a Christopher Amon.
He was recruited in Germany in 1775 or early 1776 to serve as a British soldier in the American Revolution (along with nearly 2000 other Germans who served in the ranks of British regiments). He served in the 22nd Regiment of Foot in Rhode Island and New York until his discharge in late 1783.
The date of his discharge suggests that he went to Nova Scotia along with other discharged British soldiers at the end of the war.
If anyone has more information about this man, please contact me.
