we aren't related, but my surname is Amodeo too. Iīm from Seville(Spain). This surname came to my city two century ago. He was an italian sailor who arrived in Seville and married with a sevillian woman (I donīt know their names, but his surname was Amodeo , of course).
I heard that the origin of "Amodeo" is from Milano or Sicilia, in the XII century, and means "love to God".
