Looking for information on the above Hugh Walsh Am(m)erman, born 4/19/1800, parents, Derick and Mary Belknap Ammerman. Hugh married Nancy Wier, Weir, Wear. Had children William , Mary,Samuel, Eliza and James. Hugh died 1855, Nancy died 1867. I have a daugerrotype(spelling) of who I believe are Hugh, Nancy, William and Mary. Nancy was sister to my husband's gg grandmother, Maria Wear Rodman. Any information on the Orange County, NY branch of this family appreciated.
