Hi Leslee , I agree that your William Henry is not the same as mine. We have good evidence that our William Henry was born Dec. 15 ,1792 in Kings County , Flatlands Township , New York , came to Indiana and died there on Sept 10 , 1872 . We go as follows :
Gale Richard Ammerman----me
Lyman Sylvanous Ammerman---my dad
Ephriam Wolf Ammerman---my grandpa
William Henry Ammerman--my great grandpa
Thank you for responding to my plea for help. You are very kind just as I would expect a fellow Ammerman to be . I would love to meet you Colorado Ammermans. I do appreciate your interest !!!! If in your research you should run onto my great grandpa will you please alert me .
Gale Richard Ammerman Of Indiana now residing in Alabama. I served as a professor at Mississippi State University , retired and moved to Alabama to be near the Tennessee - Tombigbee Waterway . Thanks once again . Gale
