Dear Amis cousins,
We have been approached by the SAR. They want to place a Revolutionary War gravestone for Thomas Amis in the little family cemetery here at the farm near Rogersville, TN. The DAR will also be involved. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 20th at 11:00. We are so thrilled to have our Thomas be honored in this way. It should be quite a big deal, and we are pleased to invite all descendants to come “home” and share in the festivities. There will be a tour of the grounds and house throughout the day.

Would you be so kind as to alert all those who are connected to Thomas Amis and give them the good news.

Thank you,
Cousin Wendy & Jake Jacobs
