Amirault Family Genealogy Forum

Hello Fred,
Yes, that will sure ly help me. It give a starting point to continue searching for the rest of the ancestors. My wife was born in Tiddville on Digby Neck and it was her grandmother on her mother's side that said she had Acadian blood in them. Her name is Leila Tidd. She told us that it was her grandmother on her mother's side who was an Amirault. She told that her grandmother lived in the Plymton area and they would visit her when she was young. Would you have any idea where I could find more info on the Amiraults of that area and if they would be my wife's grandmother descendants. I would greatly appreciate any info you can give me. Thank you very much. I will the favour anytime. I work at the Historical acadian village in Pubnico and have a lot of info on the first Amiraults, where they were deported and where they settled after returning from exile. The Amiraults were living in the Barrington area when they were deported with the d'Entremonts to Massachusetts and spent 10 years in exile.
