Hi Jennie, I can't believe you haven't received a reply since you posted in April. We must have been asleep :o)Are you any further along with your genealogy?
You may know by now that Mero has a huge variety of spellings, starting in it's original form of Amirault, and ranging through Amero, Ameriault, Emero, Amiro, Merrow. I'm not kidding, there are at least 15 variations of the spelling. Do you know if your family originated in Nova Scotia? That's where most of our genealogy goes back to, so if you think it does, we'd most likely to be able to help you.
