Hi Richard,

You are the first person I have ever heard that said that Francois was a farmer. The l'Oranger by all accounts I have ever read, was comprised its crew, 60 soldiers and 1 colonist (which was a complete family with 4 marriageable girls). I also believe that there are records that show Francois was posted at Fort Pentagouet Maine. Have you heard this?
