I am do research on my family tree and one of the Surnames that came into my tree is Amerson. I got an old old picture from my great aunt. She does not know who the people are. But on the back of the picture it has hand written Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Amereson. Also on the picture it has mom and dad on it. The picture was in the trunk of my great grand mothers things. So if this was her mom and dad it would be Lydia Harden Davis and a step dad. Then I have been told by another family member that Lydia Harden Davis did marry a man named Joseph R. Amerson. Lydia Harden was the daughter of Strong Harden and Eliza Simmons of Appling - Jeff Davis Co. If any one can help me with any information I would greatly appreciate it and I will also share the pictures that I have. Rose
