Dear Shirley,
Awaiting birth certificates etc., but I believe Charles Joseph was born in Digby, Nova Scotia. Also, he moved briefly back to Canada after WW2 and had a son, Wilfred Amero, whilst living in Halifax. I'm sorry I'm so vague, but I will be back with plenty of data, when I get my paperwork!
