Obit from the Portland Press Herald. Kennebunk, May 6, 1950. - Mrs. Mary A. Babine, 91, widow of Joseph N. Babine, a resident of this community for the past 49 years, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Annie Ricker, Brown St, Kennebunk.
Mrs. Babine was born in Canada, February 23, 1859, daughter of James and Henrietta Leblanc Amero. She resided in Lawrence, Mass, prior to coming here. Mrs. Babine was a member of St. Monicas Church here. Surviving besides Mrs. Ricker are three other daughters, Mrs. Emma Towne, Mrs. Lena McInnes and Miss Josephine Babine all of Kennebunk: two sons, Mandy, Kennebunk and James, Canada: a sister Mrs. William Busky, Woburn, Mass: nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 am Monday from St. Monica's Church. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk.
