I have been looking for information on my great grandmother Ella Amero may be short for elanor or eloise.history has it that she married a John JOrdan from bangor Maine little is know about him only that he was a millrigh hand in nova scotia and that he settled on the french shore.Ella was born in plympton nova scotia and had several children 1st child 1909 named Archibald James,reg,louie,mildred,margaret or margorite,ralph,lovett,vera,mary ester.history has it that Ella slowly lost her mind and was put in what they called the poor house at that time.John left her and returnd back to bangor maine and most of the children were adopted out.if anyone has any info on Ellas background please let me know as most of my jordan relatives have passed away and the only living daughter of Ella is 80 years old and was one of the children adopted out around age 5 and has no idea of who she really is and the remaing children of Ellas children no nothing of there history
