I had tried to get a "Mero" name added to this list last year. I'm really pleased that the Amero and Amirault both were added. I just have to remember to check both of them every so often. We are descendants of Francois dit Tourangeau Amirault but had no contact with any Mero's that weren't in Wisconsin or Montana. Since the Amirault msg board came on, we have found several connections. Hopefully, the Amero board will do well also. It looks like there are people responding. We just returned from Shelton, Washington where we located the grave of Russell Clark Mero who died in the early 1900's. His son, Archie, was my grandfather....lived in Montana.
Just for fun to Sherrill AMero...our daughter is named Sheryl A. Mero!!! Everyone always wants to spell her name Merrill.
I'm at mmero@cet.com and always enjoy contacts from other Mero relatives. Each little piece of the puzzle makes it more interesting.
