DANIEL COOK, Jr born 1761 Goshen, Litchfield, CT
Posted by: M Jones (ID *****3367) Date: February 05, 2014 at 19:52:15

Daniel Cook Jr. is not listed on any of the usual sites for Connecticut militia in the Revolutionary War.

Daniel is mentioned in the pension of Alexander Griswold. Alexander states he went to war with Daniel Cook and Thomas Griswold.

Daniel is also mentioned in the pension of Ebenezer Miller of Goshen. Ebenezer states he went to war with three men in a boat and mentions Daniel, Alexander, and Thomas.

This should be enough documentation for the SAR and the DAR.
