One of my ancestors is the above Robert Rudolph Boshart Jr.,grandson of SC Planter Felix Boshart. Robert Rudolph Boshart (Buzhardt)served with Col Benjamin Roebucks 1st Spartan Rangers 1781...stating that he spent most of his enlistment at Bacons's Bridge-site of colonial Fort Dorchester...this very important campsite is now becoming a Historic Landmark in SC...General Greene rested his men at Santee a short distance upstream after King's Mountain and Cowpens..while the SC Militia prevented Lord Rawldon's men from advancing from the destruction of Charleston-to instead "sail away"to England. Grandfather Boshart's home was nearby. Any further info appreciated.
