Thank you for your comments.

I've researched my RW ancestor for years. I've not been able to connect him to any family in Mecklenburg.

I have court documents showing that his parents were John and Mary Cunningham. John died in 1764. He died intestate ,but I have a copy of the inventory of his estate.

I also have copies of the deeds that I believe John and Mary had. I have researched the names associated with John and his son in order to connect the right John to his son, Ansel.

Due to the fact that there are least 3 or 4 John Cunningham's in the same area,it hasn't been easy to find the correct line.

I decided to try to find out if Ansel was connected to the other Cunningham's in Reuben Vaughan's unit.

Found the RW pension file for James Cunningham, but there is no family info about him.

This is why I'm trying to locate files on the John and William. I feel if I can make a connection to these Cunninghams, I will be able to locate the correct family.

Again, I want to thank you.

Glenna
