I have some papers here from the historical society of South Carolina. They are for a Barnet Johnson Sr.They are from 1779-1782 under Col. Marshall, South Carolina, Camden district. Barnet was a horseman and footman He signed his name with an X.
Anyone knowing anything at all about Barnet, it would be very much welcomed. I think he had a son name Thomas, that was also born in South Carolina. Thank you
