Hi,

My grandfather, George Fetterhoff, was in the 2nd PA militia, under Casper Stoever. The first time that his names appears on company rolls is Dec 25, 1781. The last date he is on the rolls is July 9, 1782. Seeing as the war was over by Christmas, what was George doing? It is possible find out if he saw active duty? (even if he was just in a neighboring county/town.) Would his activities include protecting the frontiers against indians?

Thanks,

Stefan
