Rev. War

My 4th great grandfather was an Indian Scout in the Revolution from Pennsylvania. A plaque was placed on his grave and his wife's Letitia Cline Smith's graves by the DAR. I know he served under Cpt. John Evens (Evans) and found the listing once on line but can not find it now. I am wondering if anyone knows where to look for this information. I'd like to know what group he served with. The plague says Washington County, PA. but he was from Greene County. Any help appreciated! Luci Ross
