My answer remains the same. I didn't look into the reason for the DAR to reject your membership, nor do I care. I just stated that it was a PRIVATE organization with thier own rules. Personally I am NOT a member of SAR and my daughter isn't a member of DAR even though we have a dozen IDENTIFIED participents in the American Revolution. WE don't feel that we have to pay an "official" organization for the bragging rights to our own ancestors. If others do, that is no problem with us... I just don't see makeing a public display about it. If YOU do.. fine.
