The Yohogania County Court record is not at all likely mention any proceedings in Nelson County, although it just might mention a person living elsewhere.

Since what was considered Yohogania County by VA until 1782 was located in southwestern Pennsylvania, subsequent PA records would be the main research focus unless your man moved across the Mason-Dixon line into (West) Virginia.

If you have not already done so, you could look at the PA State Archive's Revolutionary War service card file index. The gateway is here:

Of course a VA officer's Commission would not applicable for any Pennsylvania militia service.
