Jeremiah McCartney
b. abt 1753
served in the Revolutionary War in Capt. Robert Smith's Company in Col. Thaxton;s Regiment and North Carolina Line being called the 4th Regiment
Pension Number # 4334

in 1818 he wa in Charlestown in the county of Montgomery and the state
of New York. in March 1818 at age 67.

On 1771 he was still under Capt. Smith and the Reg. of Thomas Polk North Carolina Line He served in the seig of Chrlestown when attacked and also the Battle of Eutaw Springs.

He had at least one son. Name which I wish I could find out, and when he died and where, and ANY THING ELSE.
