Have you consulted Burlington County Deeds in the Courthouse and the Proprietors' records for East and West Jersey in the Archives at Trenton? The 1773 tax list? Burlington County marriage records? What do his estate records say about heirs, wife's identity, etc.? Did his heirs sell his land after his death? If so such a deed or deeds may connect with land acquisition records or inheritance from a person or persons who can be documented as being there during or before the war.
