Mr. Day was kind to do the lookups from Peden's book.

You can look at and search the contents of the two Archives of Maryland volumes on the Maryland State Archives website. When you get to the main web site (do a web search), click to "View all Volumes".

The book, /List of 9000 Men . . . ./ is just that, lists of names arranged by County with no information at all about when and where and why the persons listed were alleged to have taken oaths of allegience.

Peden did not look at original records, such as actual muster rolls, when compiling his volumes.
