What "more information" is it that you would like to have help with?

--Have you proved your descent from the Lorentz Protzman who d. 1791? If no, that is a genealogical problem, and you may find assistance by posting a description of your specific genealogical on the surname message board, or message board for where he lived and/or died.

--Have you proved that a Lorentz Protzman who d. 1791 was the one who served in the MD Flying Camp? If his widow did not apply for a pension it can be very difficult to prove that "same name" = "same person." A start would be in local Court records for the place he lived at the time.

Proving a Patriot new to the DAR requires a lot of work, including step-by-step documentation. If you go to the DAR web site, www.dar.org, you can locate the chapter nearest you and make contact. Nearly all chapters have at least one person who will help prospective members over hurdles.
