soldier enlisted in alexandra, va. and after the rev. soldier moved to loudoun, va. then to henry co., va. where soldier applied 11 nov. 1819 age 63 and soldier died there 14 feb. 1832, soldier married 1 march, year not given but about 18 mos. before the rev. to patsey baily in loudoun co., va. widow applied 26 feb. 1839 rockingham co., n.c. age about 79, in 1840 she was living in patrick co., va. children were; stephen, 28 nov 1779, susanna, 8 may 1787, morning or moaning, 1 aug 1789, joseph 7 sept 1791 or 92, thomas 26 may 1795, and patsey or martha 27 may 1798, she married john perdue, in 1839 stephen, susanna, moring and joseph were of patrick co, patsey was of rockingham and thomas went out west.
