I know this is a real long shot .
IN March 1781 Capt Stephen Pankey (under the command of BG Robert Lawson) raised a unit From Chesterfiled Co VA and headed south to the fight at the battle of Guilford Court house NC ..looking for a unit roster from that unit that Capt Pankey lead ..I have reviewed various books on the Virginia Military units with no real help
