I have gotten some conflicting information regarding Johann Heinrick Leinert, Jr (ca 1750-ca 1810) and his son Henry Leiner, III. The father is reported to be a Rev. War vet by the webpage for the Vine/ Leiner family (//familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/l/a/f/Deborah-Lafromboise/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0233.html) The son is not reported as a ARW vet but his grave is marked as such. He would have been 10 y/o at the onset in 1775. However, the Pa card project has neither of them listed. What evidence is there that either of them served in the ARW and was it Henry the father or son (it seems reasonable to me that the father was known as Jr if the son had to use 'the third' to distinguish himself). Any help out there? Thanks Walt Boutwell Notify Administrator about this message?
