There are problems with the DAR listing.

1) The only one by this name in Lamb's (2nd Continental) Artillery was the Jesse Peck who was drummer and fifer (once paid as matross) in Capt. Jonathan Brown's company.

2) The descriptive roll listing him states he was age 19 at the time of enlistment in April 1777, so born 1757/1758. Of course he may not have known exactly how old he was, or could have lied about his age in order to get in.
