Since he lived to 1831 he must have applied for a RV Pension, Google about the pensions and where you can get a copy of his sworn statement of service. At least that is what a ancestor of mine had to do, went to local court house, was sworn to tell the truth and then related his service, rank, campaigns, places of battle, officers in command, as he remembered them. This was taken down by a court recorder. But I recieved the transcribtion from another researcher and can't remeber where they got it at the moment. I believe the NARA Libraries have these copied in Volumes by state, they may have been microfilmed and availble at an LDS Family History Center.
