"A Muster Roll of Company Commanded by Capt. Nehemiah Lovewell raised by Order of Peter Olcott Esquire for the defense of the Frontiers of the State of Vermont.
Commissioned 1780:
Nehemiah Lovewell Captain
James Ladd 1st Lieut
John Thompson 2rd Liet
Private Zaccheus Lovewell, No. 18, appointed 1 Feb. 1780 for 2 months,
Private Asa Webster, No. 29, appointed 10 Feb. 1780 for 2 months, etc.
I do solemnly swear by the Everlasting God that the within Muster Roll is a Ture State of the Company without fraud to the Stte of Vermont or any Individual according to my best Knowledge–
Sworn before me at Newbury, Jacob Kent, Justice Peace this 24th day of January 1782.
