I am seeking information on a Thomas SMITH, a New Jersey veteran of the Revolutionary War who moved to Washington County, PA about 7 years after the Revolutionary War. In 1833 he applied for a pension in Harrison County, VA. I am seeking to find out if he is the father of Stephen SMITH, who was born in the 1770's in Sussex Co, NJ and came to Meigs County, Ohio.
