My grandmother was Louisa Amer, daughter of Charles Amer and Caroline Chapman of Beenham, Berkshire, who was the son of William Eamer and Sarah Carter of Thatcham, who was the youngest son of Edward Eamer and Anne Chantler of Burghfield, Berkshire. Is this of any interest? Louisa and her husband, George Henry Simpson, came to New Zealand with two of their sons in 1913.
