Found the amer family above William Amer 1850-1892 born in Royston Cambridge Herts. Married Elizabeth Wolfenden born in Bourn Cambridge in 1851. They married in Royston in Dec 1872 had 5 sons Ernest John Amer born 1874 daughter Marianne. Francis William Amer (Frank)1875-1915 sadly drowned in The Deben River Suffolk had 2 sons.William C Amer born 1878 emigrated to America. Harry John Amer born 1879 my great grandfather. Alfred Frederick Amer(Fred)1882-1900. In the 1881 census all living at High St , Royston. William was a Seedsman. The family then moved to Woodbridge Suffolk where William became Pastor of The Quay Congregational Church from 1888-1892 when he passed away. Any info on William C Amer who emigrated gratefully received or any of the above Amers.
