All surnames Amer are valid and eagerly accepted by our group. My Amers came from Bromham to Wales before 1859. William Amer was born in Bromham, Wilts in 1835. My ggrandmother was Williams daughter and was born in 1859. She was married in 1881 to my grandfather John Jones. I have info that I can exchange with you. Let us know the details. Brenda Jones.
