Hi, I am researching a James Wheeler b.1791 in Washington Co., Va. He married Mary about 1817 or earlier probably in Russell Co., Va. I have been told that Mary's surname was Amburgey. According to census data she was born about 1796 in Russell Co. and she died 06 December 1862 in Russell Co. I have searched some of the Amburgey info on the 'Net, but haven't found a connection. Anyone have any leads? This family remained in Russell Co., Va. They had the following children:
Anna b.1817-1820, Winnie b.1817-1820, Thomas C. b. 1826, James C. b. 1827, and Pleasant H. b. 1828

Any help with this line would be greatly appreciated.
