My name is Brian keith Amburgey. My father was Chester Amburgey son of Arnold Amburgey and Gladys Slone. My fathers family is from Whitesburg Ky. He was the eldest of 12 children. My grandfathers dad was named John Steven Amburgey II and I have a younger Brother named after him. the following is a list of my fathers brothers and sisters, from the eldest to the youngest and all the informetion that I know about them. Raymond Chester Amburgey (my dad) b.4-28-35 d.1-14-91; Thelma louise Amburgey b.2-16-38 married Ray Webb lived in Louisa, Ky.; Janice Faye Amburgey,married: Virgil Baker lived in Whitesburg,Ky.; James Culton Amburgey,died of electrocution at age 18; Dennie Amburgey married Wilene Daggett, last lived in Whitesburg,Ky.;Larry Brady Amburgey died of heart attack at age 40; Arnold Amburgey Jr. last lived near Butcher Holler; Barbara Amburgey married Jerry Sexton; Jerry Michael Amburgey;Gary Bennett Amburgey; Mary Helen Amburgey also married to a Sexton last lived in Whitesburg Ky. I am looking for links to my family history and welcome any information that anyone can share.
