Hello. I think we are distantly related. I have been researching my genealogy lately and found that Ida Amburgey (my great great grandmother) would have been the daughter of either Noah W (son of Wiburn Amburgy and Cynthia Silox) or an Ambrose. I found that all the Amburgey's all belong to the same "clan" if you will, going back to John and Elizabeth Hammons Amburgey who lived in Wilkes, North Carolina @1758. Have you found this to be true? I would welcome anything you could offer on the Amburgey's. My granmother knows very little about them and isn't very much help.
