The following obituary appeared in the Sept 14, 1999 Tacoma News Tribune. (Tacoma, Washington)
Foister "Burgy" Amburgy
Foister "Burgy" Amburgy, 68, of Eatonville, passed away at home, Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999. He had retired as coach and teacher from Hudloft Jr. High and Pierce County Parks and Recreation. He was an avid gardener and hunter. His grandchildren and cats were his great love. Burgy was born in Sas-safras, KY, in 1931. He graduated from Morton High School and UPS and was a basketball referee for 30 yrs. He served in the USAF.
Survivors: wife, Ginger; daugh-ters, Heather, Carroll, Christine, Holly and Lisa; sons, Kevin and Brian; sister, Christine Benson; brothers, Guy, Byron and Gene; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services Monday, Sept. 20th, at 1:00 p.m. at Fir Lane Me-morial Chapel. Reception following
