I am currently following this family for a close friend who is a descendant of John Matthew AMBLER b.1851 Islington. He married Ellen FLEY in 1874 in Islington.
They had 6 children:-
Elizabeth Mary b.1874 Islington; d.1874
Sidney John b.1875 Islington
Francis Barlow b.1877 New Barnet; m. Millicent CLAPPERTON 1919
Charles Henry F. b.1879; m. Lucy NAYLOR 1924
Mary Fley b. 1880 East Barnet; d.1882
Amy E. b.1884 New Barnet; m. Alfred RODHOUSE 1914

Sidney John AMBLER, b.1875 Holloway, Islington, London. He married Elizabeth Maud JONES 1901 in the St.Thomas district of Devon.
They had 9 children:-
Charles William b.1901 Edmonton
Gwendolen Ellen b.1903 Edmonton
Ernest Charles b.1905 Edmonton
Ivor Arthur S. b.1906 Edmonton
John Thomas b.1908 Edmonton
George E. b.1910 Edmonton
Francis E.R. b.1911 Edmonton
John M.F. b.1913 Edmonton
Sidney B.S. b.1915 Edmonton

Do you have any info following these children especially their marriages? Also, in the will that you mention, does it quote any family names that would confirm relationships?

Regards,

Patrick
