Christine, I might be able to help you as I have a copy of Louis Ambler's book, "The Ambler Family". It is arranged by localities, ie: Bradford and Halifax Branch, Leeds Branch, etc. My line is the Herfordshire, Shropshire Branch. I would need to know the shire where Huddersfield is located.
