Yep, now you've got me on the right track. This is the Oscar I've been looking for. The date of birth in 1894 was from a mass card at the time of his death. I guess I have to focus more on Darke County. There does seem to be a strong connection by both the Shelby and Darke County Amanns to the Wagner family of Sidney. I'd like to find that connection. Thanks for your help.
